It's three days till Christmas which means it's time to break out the Super Bulky yarns! Our perennial favorites are Malabrigo Caracol and Rasta. They are both extremely soft and knit up quickly and we have a beautiful selection of colors for those last-minute quick knit gifts. We chose Marian by Jane Richmond for the Caracol and Bulky Mobius Cowl by Haley Waxberg for Rasta.

New for this season, Malabrigo released a brand new yarn named Dos Tierras.
Dos Tierras means Two Lands, reflecting the sources of the two amazing fibers found in this ultra soft yarn. By spinning together plies of Fine Uruguayan Merino Wool with plies of Baby Alpaca from Peru, they have created a DK weight yarn that is as versatile as it is beautiful and combines the best of both fibers. When the good stitch definition and drape of this four ply yarn is combined with Malabrigo's amazing kettle dyed semi-solid and variegated colors you have the perfect palette to help show off your stitch work. This new yarn would knit up beautifully into accessories and handwash garments, next-to-skin wear, lace, cables, colorwork, and textured stitches.
Keep your eyes open for some August classes featuring this new beauty!
