Late last year, Rachel of Six and Seven Fibers put together seasonally inspired pairings of her Alfalfa yarn for special kits to make the Courage Cowl by JoAnne Bint, which combines alternating sections of chevron lace and two-color stripes. The positive response to the heavy fingering weight Alfalfa base of SW merino, cashmere and nylon was overwhelming, so we decided to bring in the entire line! We recently expanded our selection from local dyer Candy Skein. In addition to Yummy Fingering, we now carry Tasty DK, an exclusively milled yarn for Candy Skein. It features 3 plies with an amazing high twist. Tasty is superwash merino great for house socks, sweaters, hats, gloves, mittens and more! You won’t believe the spring and squish this yarn has, and how beautifully it shows off textured knitting. The palette has been so well put together that the color combos pop off the wall!
