Join us Saturday October 20th from 10-12pm for a yarn tasting with Cascade Yarns. Our rep Clif will have door prizes, you'll be able to play with some of the new yarns that we brought in this spring and fall, see in person the knitted garments from 60 Quick Knits for 220 Superwash, and ALL Cascade yarns will be 10% off the entire day! Join us for this fun event.
We will also be having our annual sample sale this day. It's a great time to scoop up some retired store samples.

Hampton Shawlette is beautifully designed with a meandering cable that forms a delicate scalloped edging. It is sized to where it can be worn as a scarf or shawl. Cascade's Hampton is a cotton and linen blend with a delicate texture, natural look and a hint of a shine to make those stitches pop. This yarn is a perfect choice for summer accessories and garments.

There's still time to whip up a cute mini sock that is equally cute as an ornament or a clever gift card holder. We knit this out of Cascade's Heritage Prints in the holiday colorway. It will be sure to bring a smile to whoever receives it!

Starting next Friday, November 25th, we will be launching our "Giftmas Knitting" - four weeks of fun, quick projects perfect for gifting or keeping. Stay tuned...we will announce one each Friday. We would love to see your "Finished Objects." Tag us on Instagram @nitroknitters and use the phrase #nitroknittersFO to make sure we see your picture
Our first project is Herringbone Neck Warmer by Breean Elyse Miller. This pattern looks beautiful out of Cascade's new Super Bulky "Spuntaneous." This 100% Extra Fine Merino yarn knits up quickly, beautifully and soft! It's perfect for a last minute gift. The pattern calls for buttons to keep it closed, but we chose a beautiful shawl pin from Tres Chic to add an extra special touch! After knitting the store sample, we highly recommend knitting this neck warmer on straight needles, which we have in stock.
Project for the second week is Dainty Bubbles mittens. This pattern uses aran weight wool, so we chose Cascade 220 Aran because the large palette of solid colors will really highlight the cables. These mittens will keep the recipient's (or your) hands toasty warm during winter.
If you join our KAL next Friday, make sure to bring your needles because we have a bonus project picked out that you won't want to miss!
