Ease in to Weaving, Wednesday, May 29 & June 5

This class is specially designed to ease in to weaving…Learn to weave the first week and return the second week to warp. The loom will be pre-warped and ready to start weaving on the first class, and you’ll be able to take the loom home to finish. Return the second week for the option* to learn how to warp the loom and then take the loom home for an additional week to finish your second project!

Week 1: 1pm-3pm
Week 2: 1pm-2pm (add-on will be 2pm-4:15pm)

Ease Into Weaving – 3-hours of class instruction - includes use of loom for 1 week.  (Rental looms are Ashford Rigid Heddle looms. We ask that you sign a rental contract and provide a $25 refundable deposit)

Pre-warped loom. Make a cowl with one skein of yarn, or a scarf with two. Samples are available to see in store.

Materials needed: Worsted weight yarn. 210 yds will make a cowl. 420 yards will make a scarf 7”x 70”. Yarn needs to be purchased several days before class so the teacher has time to warp the loom. We request yarn be purchased from Nitro Knitters.

*Warping the Loom (Add-on Class) – 2.25 hours – includes use of loom for 1 week. $45

Projects to choose from include scarf or table runner.

**Class Policies:

In order to provide a pleasant learning environment for the entire class, students are expected to be respectful, courteous, and kind to their fellow classmates. The instructor has the right to dismiss individuals who are not maintaining a positive class dynamic.

Cancellations

If for some reason you have to cancel your knitting class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount with at least 7 days notice. With less than 7 days, there will not be a refund.

If less than 2 students are registered for a knitting class, it may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.

Missed Classes

We understand that life gets crazy sometimes and you will occasionally miss a knitting class. Unfortunately, due to limited seating, classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
