3/05 - Stuffed Animal Workshop, Mondays 1-3pm in March

Spring is hopping closer and to celebrate, we will be working on an adorable stuffed bunny! This is a good class for those who want to take their first step into the world of crocheted stuffed animals. We will be working on the basics including construction, attachment, and applying facial features.
Week One: We will focus on the body and head construction, including Magic Ring, increasing, and decreasing.
Week Two: We will focus on applying facial features and starting the smaller appendages.
Week Three: We will focus on attaching everything together.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (familiar with single crochet)
Materials you will need to bring: Copy of the Pattern available for free through Ravelry
Worsted weight yarn in white and pink (or colors of your choice for body and ears/nose)
Crochet hook size: F (3.7mm)
Locking stitch markers
Polyfill Stuffing (or stuffing of choice)
2 safety eyes (12mm) in color of your choice (sample uses blue)
Pom-pom maker (to make a pom-pom diameter of 1.25 - 1.75 in)
Supplied for you in class: White felt (for teeth and eyes)
Black thread (for mouth)
White thread (for teeth)
If for some reason you have to cancel your knitting class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount with at least 7 days notice. With less than 7 days, there will not be a refund.
If less than 2 students are registered for a knitting class, it may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.
We understand that life gets crazy sometimes and you will occasionally miss a knitting class. Unfortunately, due to limited seating, classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
