6/03 - Tunisian Quick Mitts, Monday, 1-3pm
Instructor: Kate Pugh
Tunisian (or Afghan) crochet is a technique using a long hook to pick up multiple loops and close them. It’s the various ways that you can do these two things that create some fun designs, like the one in these mitts. This small project is a great way to learn both the Simple and Purl stitches. Plus, mitts make a light project for traveling!
Skill Level: Tunisian experience not required; Basic crochet skills highly recommended
Materials you will need to bring:
- Copy of the Pattern available for free through Ravelry
- 125 - 200 yards of DK weight yarn
- Tunisian Crochet hook size 4.5mm
